As much of the country is suffering in drought, Catalonia having declared an emergency situation, there may be some hope with the threat of rain starting on Thursday through to Sunday. After three weeks without significant rainfall, starting on Thursday and ending on Sunday, an episode of widespread rain is expected throughout Spain with very significant accumulations on the peninsular Atlantic coast and less heavy accumulations in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands, according to the forecast by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The Danish fashion brand has opened its doors in the Madrid shopping centre with a space of more than 1,100 square metres on the ground floor. This is their third store in Madrid, and number eleven in Spain. Normal, known for its motto “normal products at abnormal prices”, seeks to provide its customers with a unique shopping experience, standing out by offering trending items on social networks, such as TikTok, through a dedicated space, as well as branded products at affordable prices and others manufactured exclusively for the chain. The store renews its catalogue weekly with 100 new references, reflecting its commitment to consumer trends and customer satisfaction.

The Provincial Court in Palencia will continue the oral hearing today against three people as allegedly responsible for a crime of fraud, although the third as a necessary cooperator, in the management of the Chapó nightclub. The events now being judged date back to 2012 when one of them, in order to avoid going into bankruptcy, supposedly accepted the plan devised by those investigated to create a new company to which the business of the old one had to be transferred, the Chapó nightclub, and offering to be the front man in some of the operations.

The trial is expected to conclude today, which has been held since Monday in the National Court, against four people accused of fraud in the sale of oil that they labelled as Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the province of Jaén. In reality, almost 70% of the product was sunflower oil and the rest was olive oil of a lower category. The oil was sold between 2017 and 2018 in the Córdoba municipalities of La Carlota and La Guijarrosa.
